Tim’s and identity

I’m a sucker for the study of popular culture as it explores both personal and social identity.  A year ago, fresh off the plane so to speak, I had to buy prepub, as soon as I discovered its offing, Steve Penfold’s book, The Donut:  A Canadian History.  This morning, the local paper alerts me to Patricia Cormack‘s academic study of Tim Horton’s, which I can buy, for $20 USD.  Oh, the delights!

It’s the simplicity of it all: we are what we do and we do where we are.

And thanks to Linda Braun, I could do the gn precon vicariously…and so can you!
