Toddling town’s airport strikes again

We flew from John Wayne Airport right on time–yesterday morning.  The flight took on more weight than anticipated and so someone made the decision to keep the passengers and reduce the fuel.  Which meant we had to stop to refuel, in the middle of a very rough patch of weather.  Which meant we were delayed arriving in Chicago–but the rough weather was rougher here so that might not ahve mattered.

The long and the short:  eventually the flight from O’Hare to Halifax was cancelled (without announcement) and just to pay me back for not going to Disneyland and standing in line, I stood in line here to get new bookings.  It was a two hour and some minute line, with no toothbrush to replace my embargoed suitcase and the promise of another very long travel day tomorrow.  Oy. It is tomorrow….
