Boats return a-boating—

Well, that doesn’t scan and big apologies go out to RL Stevenson, but it does seem that spring on the harbour is about various watercraft returning. I have noted that Theodore Too has been turned for boarding, and the paddle wheeler has reappeared by Murphy’s. A delicate little paddle wheeler it is, too, in contrast with the Delta King in Old Sacramento.

Yesterday, I saw the amphibious Harbour Hopper back in the water, chugging merrily north past the Naval ships. Today, a tourist specialty cruiser, painted to announce its role in whale watching and nature expeditions, was moored near the ferry terminal.

Ah, spring is in the air but in the water as well.
